Magic Dragon Ball ‘Sushi’ – Paleo and Keto Recipe + a Video!

magic dragon ball sushi

I'm always looking for interesting things to eat that fit within a Paleo Keto diet. Well this is one of those VERY interesting recipes, and I have a treat for you… I have a video of this sushi being made, along with the recipe!

I should say first how much I love sushi and how much I've missed it since being on a paleo keto diet.

One day I went to my day job and had lunch in the cafeteria. The particular building I was in that day was not my regular one, and the cafeteria actually has a sushi station. They serve a special every day for a good price, and that day, Magic Dragon Ball Sushi was the special! I quickly realized this was no ordinary special… it actually fit within the dietary guidelines of paleo and keto! I was really surprised to find sushi without rice.

Other people in line were commenting on how the “special” had a WHOLE avocado in it, and how they couldn't eat that much fat. I was thinking, “watch me”! I will eat it AND I'll lose weight.

Learn from the recipe and the video below how to make your own magic dragon ball. It's super easy with the help of some plastic wrap. If you don't like raw seafood, don't despair, you can make this with any cooked seafood as well. What a great thing to serve to guests, or even just to make for yourself!

I apologize in advance for my lack of video skills!

Recipe Notes

The only carbs in this recipe are in the avocado, and possibly sriracha. A medium to large avocado has only 1 net carb.

Be careful with the sriracha, it does have sugar in it. One teaspoon does have 1 net carb.
