Pepperoni “Chips” with Dip
My family was super hungry waiting for cauliflower crust pizza to finish the other night, so I made them this ‘appetizer' in about 5 minutes. Pepperoni chips with cream cheese could even be served as a first course at an informal party such as superbowl, or used in a fat fast! It even makes a good very low carb quick lunch with a side salad. I will be bringing this to the next party I go to so I will have a paleo/primal keto snack that I can eat!
Tips for making Pepperoni Chips
- You can use the normal pepperoni on shelves in the store, but I would suggest using a gluten free refrigerated version of pepperoni. Many brands also have added MSG. The gluten free pepperoni is what's pictured above and it's slightly bigger around than the ‘regular' store brand.
- I also like to seek out my local butcher for cold cuts since they make them from scratch! If you do that have your butcher slice them there in thin slices as it's hard to slice them thin enough at home.
